Sleazestock and Trousersnake

Ladies and gentlemen……Sleazestock is here and Electric Avenue on Friday 26th March is the place to be, to catch this event featuring a host of the sleaziest home-grown rock around.

Headlining on the night will be none other than Trousersnake who are a backlash against the bland “cookie-cutter” alt rock scene of the modern day, pumping vintage thuggish sleazerock back into the polluted airwaves. Since their conception in August 2008, the Snake have shared the stage with hard rock veterans such as the original axe grinder of Whitesnake (Bernie Marsden), as well as Pat McManus of Mamas Boys, not to mention renowned contemporary acts like Jaded Sun and Stillroom. Next on the bill are the best band today in scumbag rock, Dirty 10 to 1. Formed deep in the Mojave desert, this band isn’t happy unless at least one of them has an injury getting off stage, thats how much their performances mean to them. They are currently recording their debut album (“Send me auntie to Lourdes she’s Massive”), but take a break from the studio for Sleazestock. Opening up proceedings on the night will be Kytte, four sons of Waterford who came together over the last year and have formed one of the tightest bands to come from these shores in many years. With sharp vocals, smooth harmonies and riffs that grab you from the off, Kytte have a very bright future ahead of them. On DJ duties for the night will be the one and only John Fitz, and newbie to the decks DJ Devastation Dave, promising to bring you the sleaziest scuzziest and dirtiest of tunes. People with a weak disposition or more used to the world of NME and clean cut indie boys, might be better off sitting this one out at the bar. Dont forget that Sleazestock is on this Friday 26th March and is only €5 admission, doors at 9.30pm.
