The Jam Tarts Orchestra was formed at the end of last year when someone came up with the simple but brilliant idea of putting all seven of the Jam Tarts’ roving members on the same stage at the one time.
Those of you “in the know” don’t need us to tell you how good they are, but their monthly residency at Electric Avenue in the first half of 2009, saw a capacity crowd at every gig and a feel good factor that would be worth millions if you could only bottle it.
The JT Orchestra return to the Avenue next Saturday 17th October after a lengthy summer break, for a live gig that will thrill you with the incredible energy of the performance and the fantastic song selection, which takes in everything from Sinatra to Pixies, The Cure to The Violent Femmes and The Smiths to Michael Jackson. Admission is free before 11pm and just €5 after.
