Undeniably influential and universally recognised are but a few words one can say about traditional Irish musical duo Martin Hayes and Dennis Cahill. The very talented pair are confirmed to be touring the U.S and Ireland in the coming months. Undoubtedly the greatest Irish fiddler of his generation, Martin Hayes’ playing defies ordinary descriptions. The duos most recent album, Welcome Here Again, is the name of their forthcoming tour. With great reviews in renowned newspapers, the Boston Globe, The Irish Times and Los Angelus Times, it’s an honour to have the winner of 2008 musician of the year award from Irelands TG4, also cited as one of the most important musicians to come out of Ireland in 50 years, come back home to indulge their audience with their musical genius.
