Mary Street Gallery is Waterford City’s newest and most exciting visual art venture. Situated on Mary Street, beside the The Fitzwilton Hotel, the gallery will open with a special private preview of ‘Townhouse’ on Thursday next, 22nd November.

The first show has assembled a group exhibition of artists who are at the top of their field, among them photographers Michael Durand (Gallery of Photography, Dublin) and Paul Kelilly (following on the heels of a successful solo show at Garter Lane Arts Centre), printmakers Coira Cummins and Fiona McDonald, and painters Paul Doran (Green on Red Gallery, Dubin), Michael Canning whose recent sell out show at Waterhouse & Dodd in Londons Cork Street has estabilished him as one of the most exciting painters in the country, Mark Swords (Kevin Kavanagh, Dublin) and Thomas Brezing (currently showing in The Lab, Dublin).
