SprOg 2009 Childrens Festival is about to kick off at Garter Lane

Next Monday 27th July a week of events for your children, with something for everyone will commence, featuring noisy art workshops!, puppet making, film, puppet shows, drumming, dancing, and even be a part of history that is fun……

There was, and there was not, ……………… there was a young boy, a serpent God, a crystal, a metal ostrich, an owl and a pussycat, a Rod Puppet, a good few funky and unusual musical instruments, a man and a woman that won’t stop talking, some mad dancers, tools, weapons and costumes from the mists of time and some magnificent young drummers who all travel from afar to gather together to be part of sprOg, all for children.

We invite you all big and small to kick up your heels, let down your hair and join us to celebrate the magic of sprOg 2009. Made with traditional ingredients such as the above gang mixed with fun, frolics and a sprinkling of enchanting bits, a dash of tricks and a generous splash of laughter.

Grab a friend or two and come along to this magical mix, and even leave with another friend or two……
