Stagemad Theatre Company present powerful “Prisoners”

Deadly rivals Guard Leary (Kieran Doyle) and Lanty Hannigan (Fergus Cooper) face up in “Prisoners of Silence”.

Easter week at Garter will be one of the highlights of the theatre programme in Waterford this year when Stagemad presents James Cheasty’s wonderful “Prisoners of Silence” for 4 nights Wed 8th, Thur 9th,Friday 10th ,Sat 11th April at 8pm nightly.

Theatre lovers are in for a night of pure no punches pulled theatre. The cast is as follows: Margaret Curran, James Whealan, Fergus Cooper, Paul Corcran, Kieran Doyle,Eamon Kelly, Paul Dillon, Brid Power, Stage Managed by Liam Fitzpatrick,lighting by Michael Oates. Sound by Ian White.The play is set in a pub in a seaside town somewhere in Ireland.An incident happens that changes the lives of the people having their Christmas drink in Mag Daly’s pub on the forbidden day of the 25th December.
