She is a founder member of Kilkenny’s acclaimed Devious Theatre Company and the Artistic Director of Tada. Niamh brought her play ‘Yer Wan’ to Central Arts in 2015 which was very well-received by audiences and critics alike. She has also made regular appearances at the company’s Open Mic Nights.

The year-long residence is to involve a number of yet to be announced collaborations and development projects which are to include theatre, film and workshops. “We’re so excited that Niamh’s going to join us and take up this residence”, said Ciara O Connell, Director of Central Arts. “She’s an extremely talented theatre-maker and brings a real energy and enthusiasm. We’ve got some really great projects in the pipeline, so watch this space.”
