Waterford Panto Society

The Waterford Panto Society are delighted to announce that their annual production will be ‘Aladdin’ this year. Once again the production will be under the guidance of Waterfords own Bryan Flynn of Michael Collins fame who will bring his unique brand of Panto magic to the Waterford stage.

The newly refurbished Theatre Royal will be the venue for this years production, with its completely redesigned interior and vastly improved seating arrangements. Aladdin will give Waterford Theatre goers one of their first opportunities to experience the new and plush interior.

All the familiar faces in the cast will be back once again, as well as Choreography Michelle Condon and her dancers and the Panto Band under M.D. Wayne Brown.

This years production will take place from Saturday November 28th to Sunday December 6th with matinees on each Saturday and Sunday at 3pm. There are 11 performances only, and a high level of interest is expected as always from the Waterford public. Don’t forget – last years production of Cinderella completely sold out for its entire run!

Its not too early to enquire about tickets, and the society welcomes enquiries for group or individual bookings by email to info@waterfordpantosociety.com. The Committee would be delighted to discuss all your needs and special group rates for this years production.

Waterford Panto Society’s Aladdin will be one of the very few amateur shows to take to the stage of the Theatre Royal before Christmas, and promises to deliver once again with slapstick fun and bang up to date music. This year more then ever we all need a bit of light relief, especially in the run up to christmas, so why not make a date in your diary for you and your family and help keep amateur theatre alive in Waterford.
