Cathy Davey – Meteor hopeful
Hot favourite to win the Choice Award for best album of 2007 (plus at least one Meteor Award), Cathy Davey will perform her debut Waterford show at Electric Avenue on Wednesday 20th February,with support from one of Dublin’s most exciting new bands The Chapters.
“Tales Of Silversleeve” is fully deserving of whatever awards come it’s way, as with songs like “Sing For Your Supper”, “Reuben” and “Moving” it has been dominating the national radio airwaves for most of the last year. It was also a big HIT in the South East, winning album of the year on BeatFM’s Irish Beats programme and being the biggest selling album at BPM records over the Christmas period.
