Thieves make off with the Roanmore Blitz proceeds

Gardai have appealed for the public’s assistance after two thieves made off with the proceeds of Roanmore GAA Club’s annual Charity Hurling Blitz last Saturday.

Roanmore GAA club official Liam Cheasty was robbed at his Butlerstown home as he returned home from the club’s annual Charity Hurling Blitz, which attracted 1,464 children.
