Tramore could be forsaken child of reluctant marriage!

The local government reform
implementation group’s most
recent report, relating to the
amalgamation of Waterford
City and County Councils,
does not augur well for
Tramore, the town’s Mayor
has warned.
The group was tasked by
Environment Minister Philip
Hogan with preparing a
scheme for completion of the
amalgamation, with the aim of
having the business completed
in the calendar year 2014.

The local government reform implementation group’s most recent report, relating to the amalgamation of Waterford City and County Councils, does not augur well for Tramore, the town’s Mayor has warned.

The group was tasked by Environment Minister Philip Hogan with preparing a scheme for completion of the amalgamation, with the aim of having the business completed in the calendar year 2014.
