Students from Jules Rieffel School in Waterford’s twin city of St. Herblain , were accorded a special civic reception at the Mayor ‘s parlour.

Waterford Metropolitan Mayor Lola O Sullivan spoke most encouragingly to the students at the reception and complimented both the Presentation School and the Waterford St. Herblain town twinning committee for their efforts in assisting them.

Deputy Mayor Cllr Jason Murphy also spoke positively of the connection and he had given support also from Waterford City hall for the Presentation School.

A further year of this twinning is expected and a group of tennis players are also bound for St. Herblain this summer.
