‘Mind your own business O’Leary’

Eamon McGrath, Hon Secretary of the Ballymacaw Fianna Fail Cumann, said Michael O Leary should mind his own business following his comments before the Oireacthas transport committee on Wednesday 16th of July, where he said regional airports including Waterford had no future.

“He obviously suffers from loss of memory! Ryanair got a good kick start from Waterford and the south east when they were a humble company in 1985. His comments were unhelpful, insulting, and disrespectful to the management and staff of Waterford regional airport”, said Mr. McGrath.

“Rising passenger numbers proves that there is a strong demand for services from our airport and with a government commitment of 22.3 million by 2010.Our airport has a viable prosperous future. That investment is already visible with the opening of the new road and with the planned extension of the runway.

“I appeal to the people of Waterford and the south east to continue to support our airport and together we can all play a part in its future”, he concluded. Eamon McGrath is seeking a Fianna Fail nomination for the Tramore electoral area in next year’s local elections.

Yes I agree with Eamon McGrath…Michael O’ Learly should mind his own business…Waterford Airport is the best thing that has happened to Waterford in the past few years..Me and my family and friends use it all the time now travelling from the UK there and back frequently. Makes such a difference than doing the long tedious journey by sea, that we have done for years.
Long live Waterford Airport… I will always support it.
