Bookmark, Email, Print or Share‘Effin Eddie’ film to help St Aidan’s Ward
Famous You-Tube internet sensation, ‘Effin Eddie’ with some of his fanatical Aherlo GAA supporters.
A Film Premiere will be held at Revolution Bar John St Waterford on Thursday December 2nd at 8.30pm. The film is a short documentary/comedy (running time 35minutes) called ‘The Legend of Effin Eddie’. The film tells the true story behind a hilarious Gaelic football match commentary which became famous worldwide and is now an internet phenomenon. All proceeds from the night will go to Waterford Healing Arts Trust which provides live music programme at St Aidan’s Dementia specific unit, St Otterans Hospital Waterford. The film was produced and directed by Waterford man Mick Daniels. The film will be released on DVD nationwide on Dec 3rd and will be available to buy from shops and from www.effineddie.ie
