The National Graves Association has raised concerns regarding the Pickardstown Ambush Memorial outside Tramore, in view of the proposed realignment of the Tramore – Waterford Airport Road.
Dunmore East member Pat Fitzgerald (SF) told this month’s meeting of Waterford Co Council that the National Graves Association feared that the project may impact on the Pickardstown memorial and they wished to know what safeguards had been put in place to protect the memorial.
