Last weekend marked a very special occasion at Gaelscoil Phortlairge with the official opening of the schools new extension by Minister Martin Cullen. The original Gaelscoil was founded in 1984 and was based in Viewmount Park on the Dunmore Rd. The new extension has fantastic new facilities including more classrooms and a state of the art sports hall.
