As we large bottled folks know only too well, it’s tough to beat Kilkenny at any time, and the last thing any opposition should do is to hand them a couple of soft goals.
Alas, despite a full-blooded and at times excellent performance, Waterford coughed up two cheap green flaggers to the defending champions which ultimately denied them victory in Nowlan Park on Monday.
