Good luck to Nicky at the Oscars

This week will certainly be a time to remember for the Phelan family of Cove Lodge, Stradbally, as they travel to Los Angeles and Hollywood to support Nicky Phelan who directed ‘Granny O Grimm’ one of two animated Irish made films nominated for this year’s Oscars.

Nicky and his team are already in Tinseltown preparing for the event while his mother, sisters and uncle were en route as we went to press.

The 82nd Academy Awards will take place on Sunday and all Nicky’s friends in Stradbally and throughout the county and city will be glued to their televisions waiting for the results.

Well, i have to say, i think that the oscars is fun to look at, and i really thought that hurt locker is a impressive movie to watch!
