Half Cut at Central Arts

e4s1-pic-1-editOn Friday, 6th March, Central Arts plays host to Half Cut Comedy, a new group of young performers shaking up the comedy scene in Waterford.

The group has been formed by local men Kieran Walsh, Sean Murphy and Alan Conners and they are to showcase their talents on the night, joined by Andy O’Regan, Pat McDonagh and very special Guest performer on the night, award winning, Dublin-based comedian Donal Vaughn. Donal was Winner of 2014 Tedfest ‘Toilet Duck’ Comedy Award, Runner up of 2014 Show Me the Funny Competition, Runner up of 2013 Capital Comedy Club New Comedian of the Year and Finalist of the 2013 Leicester Square Theatre New Comedian of the Year.

This showcase is sure to be a great night, provide plenty of laughs and launch this new group onto the Waterford comedy circuit. The town won’t know what’s hit it. “With the support of local business, the arts scene and the network of comedians in Ireland, we’re going to get Waterford laughing again,” says founder member Sean Murphy, “We’re working to develop local talent and to bring national acts to our humble shores…watch this space!”

Tickets are priced €10 and will be available on the night. However, pre-booking through the Central Arts Facebook page is recommended to avoid disappointment.
