Michael Wadding to take charge of All Ireland Final
Waterford’s hurlers may not be on the pitch in Croke Parkea for the All Ireland Senior Hurling Final on September 5th but the honour of refereeing and umpiring the game has gone to a Waterford city combination from the Roanmore Club.
Michael Wadding, who was in charge for last year’s semi-final between Kilkenny and Cork and this year’s Leinster Final between Kilkenny and Galway has been given the honour of refereeing this year’s final. His umpires, who were also in action in the previous two games will be Tom Martin, Noel Crowley, Pat Burns and Noel Cowman, all from the Roanmore Club.
