The body recovered from the River Suir on Friday last has been identified as that of missing Co Tipperary man Pat Shoer.
Forty-four year-old Mr Shoer was last seen boarding a bus for Waterford in Clonmel over a month ago.
His remains were taken from the river downstream of the city by the Carrick-on-Suir River Rescue, following an extensive search operation.
Gardai are not treating the death as suspicious.
