Mystery of Passage East’s missing goats
The mysterious disappearance of a wild goat herd on the rocky outcrop over Passage East has sparked off an investigation by the Chief Veterinary Officer of the Department of Agriculture in Waterford.
Over 30 goats were surreptitiously culled from the unique herd in the last month, leaving just eight animals on the hillside. The herd is said to have existed on the rocks for centuries.

From where they come from, many of the NEW Irish consume goat meat.
