In his pitch for a nomination to contest the Presidential election, Senator David Norris clearly made a favourable impression when he addressed Waterford City Council on Monday night.
Cllr Tom Cunningham described his speech as one of the most eloquent, passionate, lucid, engaging and forthright he had heard during his near-twenty years on the Council and most of the other members also voiced positive sentiments.
