The late Brian Harty
A NEW scholarship programme has been established in remembrance of local musician Brian Harty, who sadly passed away in 2010.
In honour of Brian, who’s family home was at Ballinakina, Woodstown, the US-based Grab the Torch has established the Brian Harty Scholarship, worth $2,000, which provides one female student aged 14- 18 with the funding to attend the Grab the Torch camp at the Ethel Walker School in the US state of Connecticut this summer.
