Whist cards takes place in St. Paulâ ¬!”s Parish Meeting Rooms each Monday from 3-5 p.m. New members will be made very welcome & will get lots of help from existing members. Why not come along?

Athletics

Congratulations to St. Paulâ ¬!”s Community College student, Kelly Proper, on her success at the recent Schools Indoor International which was held in Cardiff. Kelly took gold in the Long Jump competition. We also congratulate Niamh Whelan, Presentation Secondary School, who took silver in the 60m at the same event. Both are prominent athletes with Ferrybank A.C.

Best Wishes

Best wishes to the pupils of the Power School of Dancing, and all the Irish dancers in St. Paulâ ¬!”s, who will contest the Munster Irish Dancing Championships this weekend. The prestigious event will take place at The Woodlands Hotel. Good look girls, hope you have lots of success. Parents of the Power School of Dancing should note that due to the above championships, there will be no classes on Saturday 17th or Monday 19th February.

Trawler Tragedy Collection

A church door collection will take place in St. Paulâ ¬!”s next weekend, February 17th/18th, for victims of the Dunmore East trawler tradgedy. Please give generously.

Its Show Time!

Best wishes to the Transition year students of the Presentation Secondary School on their production of â ¬
SFiddler on the Roofâ ¬. The show is running from Tuesday 13th to Thursday 15th of February at the parish School. Similar felicitations to the pupils from the parish involved with the De La Salle/Ursuline/Mercy Schoolsâ ¬!” production of â ¬
SJesus Christ Superstarâ ¬. The popular show will run from Wednesday 7th to Saturday 10th March at the Theatre Royal. The girls and boys have put in tremendous work into their respective productions and we wish them every success.

Internet & e-mail Course

An introduction to the internet & e-mail, a 10 week course, will commence on Thursday 1st March next at The Nagle Centre, Barrack St., Waterford. The course takes place from 9.15-11.15 a.m. and some computing skills are needed. For further information, interested parties should contact 086-8649843.
