Stolen chalices found near Fenor
Parishioners and clergy in Fenor are delighted after chalices stolen from the local church on Hallowe’en night were located. Thieves made off with a safe containing the sacred vessels, probably thinking it contained cash. The opened safe and its ecclesiastical contents were subsequently found abandoned by a wall at nearby Annestown beach.
