Congratulations to Katarina Zderkova (shop floor) and Robert Horak (maintenance) who got engaged. Katarina and Robert are both from the same village in Slovakia and Robert popped the question while they were both at home visiting family over Christmas.
Well done to “recession beating” Mai Shaw (shop floor) who won a fabulous new car from Lisduggan Credit Union. Also congratulations to Janet Healey (office) who celebrated a big birthday in style recently.

Yoga Classes

Clams, Mussels and Whelks!
Clams, mussels and whelks are part of the Life in a Shell exhibition at Ardkeen Library during January and February.
The exhibition is by the Irish Wildlife Trust and outlines the biodiversity of sea shells, their evolution, habitats and identifies key points such as natural heritage and conservation. The exhibition also looks at the interaction between wildlife and people. The exhibition is accompanied by a selection of books on the sea and the seashore.

Waterford Healing Arts Bridge Night
A Bridge evening in aid of Waterford Healing Arts trust will take place at Waterford Castle Golf Club this Friday, January 30th at 7.30pm. All grades welcome. There will also be a raffle on the night. Tickets are €10. Text or call your entry to 087-653963 in order to secure your place.
