A man had two accidents within 90 minutes at the junction of O’Neill’s Bar and Xtravision in Tramore, the January meeting of the local Town Council heard.
Cllr Tom Raine raised the matter of a dangerous road surface in the area, warning that there would be a fatality if something wasn’t done about it. And Area Engineer Jane O’Neill agreed, saying she had got a report from the double accident victim.
She said she had inspected the junction area and further investigation was necessary. Slippery surface signs had been installed on the approaches and indications were that funding would be forthcoming for improvements.
