Waterford FG open meeting

Waterford Fine Gael is hosting an open meeting in the main auditorium of WIT next Wednesday, December 10, at 8p.m. The main focal points of the meeting – chaired by Phil Hogan TD – will be on education, the economy, the health service and agriculture.

Party education spokesperson Deputy Brian Hayes, who has committed Fine Gael to support university status for the Waterford Institute, is among the line-up of speakers, as is Friends First Chief Economist Jim Power, a native of Clonea Power.

Waterford TD John Deasy and Senators Paudie Coffey and Maurice Cummins will also discuss a range of local and national issues.
