Woman died from hyperthermia after night out

A Waterford city woman was found dead from hyperthermia outside her home during severe weather conditions in December 2009, an inquest was told in Waterford, this week. A jury returned a verdict that Rose Whelan (51) with an address at Ardmore Tce, Ballybeg, Waterford, died on December 19, 2009 of hyperthermia when she returned home after a pre-Christmas night out in the city centre.

State Pathologist, Professor Marie Cassidy, said she carried out a post mortem examination on the body of the dead woman at Waterford Regional Hospital and gave details of her injuries.

    Someone should proof read before posting an article hyperthermia is elevated temperature, while hypothermia which im sure this article should read is low body temperature!!!
