World Champion at Waterpark N.S
Congratulations to Dean O’ Mahony a pupil at Waterpark N.S who won a gold medal at the World Karate Championships which were held recently in Italy. Dean is a member of Pat Rockett’s Karate Academy and at eight years of age is the youngest black belt in Ireland.
Open Night

Service of Remembrance
Waterford Regional Hospital are holding a children’s Mass of Remembrence on Saturday, November 8th in the Hospital Chapel at 3pm. All are welcome.
Meditation & Healing
A meditation & healing group meets every Wednesday at 7.30pm at the Waterford Cheshire Home, John’s Hill, Waterford. Blood Donation Bank
The Irish Blood Transfusion Service will be at the Woodlands Hotel until Saturday next November 6th. Intending donors can come along from 4pm onwards each day.
Bohemians Soccer Academy
Anyone interested in learning soccer in a fun, structured and safe environment are very welcome to enroll in our Soccer Academy. The Academy is now in it’s eight year and has been very successful in preparing players for our under 11 teams. All of our senior coaches have obtained their relevant FAI Coaching badges and our new coaches will be doing them this season. The Academy is held on the Astro Turf pitches in Waterpark Rugby Grounds in Ballinakill, every Saturday morning from 9:15am to 10:30am. It is open to Boys & Girls between the ages of 5-10 years old, of all abilities. Waterford Garden Plant Society
The next talk will be held in St Joseph & St Benildus Parish Centre this Wednesday, November 5th at 8pm. Rose expert David Kenny will give an illustrated talk on “Roses, Roses all the way”, including feeding, pruning, tackling disease, planting, and getting the best from your display. Our annual Christmas Dinner Dance will take place on Wednesday, December 3rd in the Parish Centre. Good food, bring your own wine. Coffee Morning
