It is with sadness we write of the passing of Danny Power Brenan Stradbally and Kill which took place recently.

Following prayers at his residence in Kill led by Fr. Jerry Condon, Danny’s remains were brought to St. Anne’s Church, Ballylaneen for his Funeral Mass at 2.30pm on Sunday 24th January. Fr. Michael Enright received and blessed the remains and celebrated the funeral Mass. The reader was Mary Fitzgerald (daughter). Appropriate hymns were sung during the Mass by Marie Kavanagh and Margaret Moore. Following Mass Danny’s remains were laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery. Sincere sympathy is extended to wife Peggy, to Mary and Eddie, Catherine and martin, grandchildren Isabelle and James and the extended family.
