It is with deep and sincere regret we record the death of Eily Fitzsimons nee Moloney, Clonard Park, and formally of O Reilly Road, Cork Road, who died at the home of her son, Leslie, and his wife, Sharon, in England recently.
Her remains were removed from Thompson’s funeral home to St Saviour’s Church on Tuesday January 26th where they were received by Fr Fergal Mac Eoínín OP PP. Burial took place in St Otteran’s Cemetery, Ballinaneesagh, on Wednesday January 27th following 11am Requiem Mass celebrated by Fr Mac Eoínín. She was predeceased by her parents, her daughter Michelle, her sisters Janette and May and her brother Pat.
She is survived by son Leslie her sisters Kitty, Alice, Betty, Josie and Ann; her brothers Martin and Laurence; her daughter-in-law Sharon; her grandchildren Katie, Lucy, Jody, Simon, Georgina and Danielle; sister-in-law and brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces relatives and friends to whom we offer our deepest sympathy. Eily’s months mind will take place on Sunday 21st February at 5-30pm in St Saviour’s church.
