Late Nora Duggan
The death occurred last week of Mrs Nora Duggan Georges Street.
Her remains were removed from Waterford Regional Hospital on Wednesday evening to St Patrick’s Church Portlaw and were met on arrival by Father M Duggan also present was Fr N Hassett. Nora was the oldest resident in Georges St. A quiet and gentle lady by nature, good neighbour and friend, she had a special devotion to Padre Pio. Her Requeim Mass was celebrated by Father Duggan on Thursday morning assisted by Father Hassett following which her remains were carried by family members to her final resting place in the adjoining cemetery. The large attendance at her removal and burial was a fitting tribute to her memory. Sincere sympathy is extended to daughter Mary, sons Jim, Paddy, John, Michael, Adrian, Martin, David, Tommy and her many other relatives and friends.
