Late Pat Lennon
The town was shocked by the news of the sudden death of Pat Lennon who died in his home at William St last week.
Pat was gentle by nature. He was known for his wonderful singing voice and sang in many bands in his early years. Pat also played the part of Joseph in the musical ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat’ in the Tops of The Town in the Seventies, a former employee of Irish Tanners where he worked until is closure. Pat’s hobby was a game of darts, there was nothing he liked better darts and his friends.
His remains were removed from Waterford Regional Hospital to St Patricks Church Portlaw and were met on arrival by Father Hassett and following requiem mass were interred in the adjoining cemetery. He was predeceased by his wife Sheila he is survived by his sons Steven, Barry and Partick jnr his daughters, Frances and Rebecca, his grandchildren, sisters Kathleen and Elizabeth and other relatives and many friends.
