There was deep sadness throughout the local community at the news of the death of Mr. Tommy Doyle senior, late of Wilkin Court. He was an extremely popular member of the local community and a well liked personality.
A member of the staff of the former Waterford Crystal up to his retirement, he was predeceased by his wife Lily, about twelve months ago. He was father of Eddie, Thomas, Tony, Paul and the late John, daughters Betty, Mary, Pauline and Eileen and is also survived by his nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Removal took place from his home to St. Joseph & St. Benildus Church and burial took place in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ballinaneesagh.
