One of the stalwarts of the Waterford showband and cabaret era died last week and was buried in St Otteran’s Cemetery,

Ballinaneesagh, on Sunday last. Michael ‘Geno’ Hearne, St John’s Park, was a talented singer and guitarist who also played trombone.
