Bullying Workshop

Humourfit Theatre Company presented the Mighty Bully Brady which focuses on bullying in schools. The show was presented to second years as part of their SPHE Programme. The performance was informative and interesting and the students thoroughly enjoyed and learned from it.
Seachtain na Gaeilge
Tá an Roinn na Gaeilge an ghnothach anois le Seachtain na Gaeilge. Ta a lán imeachtaí éagsúla ar siul mar shampla tráth na gceist, comortaisí, cluichí etc. Tá an scoil maisithe le postéir agus balúin etc. Táimíd ag tnúth le neart spraoi agus spleodair!!

Cyber Bullying

Dr. Stephen Minton TCD talked to junior years about Cyber Bullying.The talk was very informative and advised on the dangers of cyber bullying and promoted Healthy internet usage. An Open talk was presented by the parents association on the same topic.

Fair-trade Workshop

As part of Fairtrade Fortnight a workshop was held for second year students by Waterford One World Centre. The focus of this workshop was to introduce students to the concept of Fair trade and how they too can take action on this issue in their own community. There was a particular emphasis on the fashion industry and how students should educate themselves about ethical trade. Students found the workshop interesting as it linked into what they had been studying in CSPE under the concept of interdependence.
