Fame the musical comes to St. Paul’s
There was great excitement in the Assembly Hall on Thursday morning last when the school was paid a visit by past pupil, Michael O’Brien, better known to all Fame: The Musical followers as Michael Joseph. Michael has done really well so far and is now one of six through to the semi final of the competition, the winners of which will play the leads in Fame the Musical when the show goes on tour nationwide later this summer.
Michael spoke to the students, recalling his schooldays in St.Pauls, when he took part in his first musical ‘Grease”, produced by Music Teacher Ms Geri Dunne. He then sang” The Impossible Dream “to a captive audience before signing autographs for the boys and girls and reminding them all to keep voting for him. It was great to see Michael again and we wish him every success in the competition and in his future career.
