Kelly Proper, Ferrybank AC, celebrates after winning the Women’s 200m Final at the Woodie’s DIY / AAI Senior Irish Indoor Athletics Championships in the Odyssey Arena, Belfast, on Sunday, pipping her clubmate Niamh Whelan (silver) and Britain’s Olympic 400m champion Christine Ohorougu, third. Kelly also equalled her national indoor long-jump record of 6.32m on Saturday. Ferrybank athletes came home from the North with four Irish firsts in total.
