Kilrossanty’s David Prendergast has made it onto the five-strong shortlist from which Newstalk 106-108 FM and Ulster Bank hope to unearth the next big name in Irish sports journalism.
The winner of the competition will report on this year’s All-Ireland Football Championship Final, win an internship with the Newstalk sports department and pick up €500 in prize money.
