Dunhill return to top grade by slenderest of margins

Eddie KirwanAfter 13 years in the Intermediate ranks, the hurlers of Dunhill returned to the Senior Championship when they saw off the stern challenge of Tourin in a Walsh Park replay last Saturday afternoon.

Dunhill had to win this game the hard way as the heavy underfoot conditions appeared to suit their more physical opponents.

But on a day when not one of the 32 players who saw action could be faulted for effort, the eastern champions held on for the narrowest of victories.
