Waterford girls also lose out to Galway
Waterford 2-7 ; Galway 2-10
The Waterford camogie team took the long trip to Galway on Sunday last to take on Galway in the second round of the National League Division 2.
With an experimental team, selectors Andy, Niall and Carolyn were hoping for a win to keep their hopes of qualifying for the final alive, as the girls were already defeated in the first round by last years league champions Wexford.
In wind-swept conditions the Deise girls were ahead by 2-5 to 0-5 at the interval, but alas like their male counterparts in their league qualifier also against Galway on Sunday relinquished this lead in the second half as Galway were the eventual winners on a score line of 2-10 to 2-07.
