Waterford make two changes for Kilkenny

Senior hurling manager Justin McCarthy has made two changes as Waterford face All-Ireland champions Kilkenny in the eagerly anticipated rematch of last year’s league final at 2.30pm in Nolan Park on Sunday.

The Déise ran out convincing victors over Antrim last weekend, scoring 3-29 in the process. However, McCarthy has decided to bring Brian Phelan in for Eoin Murphy in a defensive reshuffle that sees Kevin Moran start at full back.

In attack John Mullane returns to the full-forward line after a nasal operation at the expense of Shane Casey.

The match will be shown live on TG4 on Sunday.
