Kickboxing for Gavin Glynn Foundation

Emma Jones, representative of the Gavin Glynn Foundation received a cheque for €4, 390, the proceeds of a whitecollar kickboxing event which was held at the Crystal Leisure Centre.

The Gavin Glynn Foundation assists children with cancer and was instrumental in helping five year old Eoin Stuart when he needed to go overseas for treatment.

Eoin is now finished treatment and doing really well which is a brilliant result for this Waterford family who have been through so much.
Pat Rockett from the Pat Rockett Martial Arts Academy at Crystal Leisure Centre, Waterford said he and his members were delighted that they could help raise such a substantial amount for such a brilliant cause helping children with cancer.

Pat Rockett also said they will hold further fundraising events at the Crystal Leisure Centre and this also showcased the centre as a perfect venue for any fundraising event with full bar facilities access to an onsite boxing ring, bar and function room , a sports hall that can hold large crowds on site cafe, meeting and dressing rooms with showers, free parking for up to 100 cars making it the perfect venue for any event.
