Adam Feeney of Waterford United takes the ball on his chest against Bray

Having scored six goals against Limerick, Waterford United were held scoreless by Bray Wanderers at the RSC on Sunday afternoon last.
They came up against a goalkeeper who was in inspired form and were also guilty of missing some gilt edge chances.
On the plus side however the Blues were rock solid at the back which was pleasing.
Luke Kiely tried his luck from long range after seven minutes but he was narrowly off target. Eoin Porter let fly from 25 yards on 23 minutes but Bray goalkeeper Jack Henry tipped the ball over his crossbar.
The only real chance carved out by the visitors came after 28 minutes. David Leahy picked out Pat Bolger but he headed over the bar from close range.
The home side went on the attack once again in the second half and a goal looked on when Eoin Porter played in Justin Croke but Jack Henry raced from his line to take the ball off Croke just as he was about to shoot.
That move occurred on 56 minutes and one minute later Eoin Porter found himself in front of goal, totally unmarked but he shot straight at Jack Henry from point blank range.
With five minutes remaining Luke Kiely almost scored a wonder goal.
He collected the ball just inside the halfway line and when he noticed that the goalkeeper was off his line he fired in a brilliant effort but unfortunately the ball came crashing back off the top of the crossbar.
Waterford United continued to press for what would have been the winning goal but two substitutes were denied by the inspired Jack Henry. First Ryan Lambe lashed in a free kick from just outside the 18 yards box but the netminder got a strong hand on the ball and two minutes into stoppage time Jack Henry did remarkably well to touch away a fine angled shot from Sean Roche.
