Waterpark 18; Young Munster 0

Line-out action from the game.
With the dye cast in the previous final, the pressure was on the Under 19s to also deliver the goods against Young Munster and deliver they did in empathic fashion with an 18-point win over the team from Clifford Park.
Park set out their stall very early and from the off took this game to Munsters and were very unlucky not to score under the posts within five minutes when centre Eoin Heffernan broke clean through the middle and was heading for the posts, only to be brought down by a despairing tap tackle by Munster’s scrum half Jack Meyers.
Seven minutes later Park did register their first points through the boot of scrum half, Paddy Kiersey with a great strike from the touchline 30 metres out to go in front at 3-0. Park who were well in control at this stage had Munsters on the back foot and on the half hour a lovely back movement saw left winger Conor Langton race for the corner only to be bundled into touch five metres out.
With Scott Hornibrook lording it out of touch, two minutes before half-time a lovely variation at a lineout 10 metres out saw Kyle O’Donoghue crash over the Munster’s line for the first try of the game and Park ahead 8-0. To be honest such was Parks control of the game during this half it would have been no surprise if there had been fifteen to twenty points between the sides at the interval.
After the break Park continued where they had left off and within three minutes Kiersey had added another three points with another wonderful strike again from the touchline to push the score out to 11-0.
