The Abbey College Junior relay team, which included Ann-Marie Moloney took bronze as did the Abbey Junior boys team, which included Aaron Donnelly, Aaron Redmond and Eoin Maher. Well done to all and good luck in the upcoming East Munster championships.

No Ordinary Joe

Belated congratulations from the club to Joe Gough on taking the World o60 Masters 800m and also breaking the existing record. We ran into Joe at the recent University T&F and he looked in remarkable condition. Still able to clock a 58 second 400m, lots of good athletes would struggle to do it in their prime. Continued success to the popular West Waterford athlete.
