Following the recent announcement that Tramore Golf Club is the host the Irish Amateur Golf Championships in 2015, Walker Cup selector Michael Burns believes that the refurbished course is now firmly on track for a more regular diet of elite amateur golf.
Earlier last month one of the golf industry’s foremost publications “Backspin” magazine reaffirmed Burns confidence with the selection panel placing Tramore in 24
th position from approximately 300 parkland courses nationwide.
