Dunhill 2-12; Portlaw 0-17
Once again, the Eastern Intermediate championship did not let us down as it served up yet another cracker last Saturday in Walsh Park.
In the final minute, Shane Casey fired in a 21-yard free which earned a one-point victory for Dunhill, thus breaking the hearts of a Portlaw side which had led for the entire second half up to that point.
The sides were level on six different occasions in that first period as they matched each other score for score with the quality of the scores also being out of the top drawer.
Portlaw scored the first point of the game through a Paul Power free but Dunhill were soon level when former Waterford star Micheál White scored off his trusty left hand side.
